A Bear-y Good Day!

Here we are doing our first partner reading. We are reading, "Pete Likes Colors"  Your child is bringing it home tonight.
Please have them read it for you at home.

We also enjoyed the classic story, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" and put the characters in sequence.

Our Top Dog Bre brought in her estimation bag. It was friendship bracelets she shared with the class.
Bre you are a "beary" good friend!
Thank You!

Making Sense

Our first class "Top Dog " is Breleigh!
We  loved learning all about her, especially that she  would like to be a tooth fairy when she grows up!

Our class mascot, Danny sure loved being with the Block family. He especially loved celebrating Bre's birthday with her!

Starting our day with Maggie and our morning calendar.

Math really had us thinking.

Today we built tower blocks to match each number 1-10.
When they were all built we could see the pattern that each number is 1 more than the one before it.

Mike made a perfect example of his work AND he was the first one done.

Lucas took a lot of pride in his work!

Your children should not only be able to point out their numbers 1-10 out of order, but also be able to demonstrate what they mean like in today's activity. Having number sense is essential to math concepts.
REMINDER: PICTURE DAY TOMORROW!!!!!!!
Time to look fabulous ( though they already do everyday!)
