Yikes! Something creepy was going on in our classroom today as we learned about our amazing 8 legged friends!!!!!   

Reminder: Tomorrow is our Halloween party and all school costume parade! We can't wait:)

We had a blast exploring pumpkins today with Mrs. Bales (Miss Bales' Mom).

Ask your kiddo if they liked the muffins or the seeds more! :)

October 28th, 2014- Trick or treating, Halloween costumes, the school dance, Henry's birthday party and a new sibling for one of our classmates. What an exciting and eventful long weekend!

A new addition to Zoey's family- baby brother, Deacon born this past Sunday!

Today we enjoyed a visit from Mrs. Stein, the librarian at the Big Bend Public Library. We had lots of fun during math stations (ask your child to play the Halloween dice game!) Have fun at the all-school Halloween Party for those of you attending!

There are 206 bones in a grown up's body! The largest bone is the femur or thighbone. The tinniest bones in the body are in your ear!

We are becoming amazing readers and writers by doing our Daily 5! Today we got to do a word match game in word work. It was exciting to sort through dried rice, beans and noodles to find, match and read words.
