Celebrate



Today we celebrated Ms. Rose ! We bloomed with her in our classroom.



It looks like someone has held  bunnies before!

We thank Frits the bunny for visiting.

Rain, Rain

Today we used our observation skills to do a  science experiment about rain and clouds.

Our honorary kindergartner ( Brody's little brother Colten)  fit right in !

We read this book on rain.
Do you notice the raindrops actually say rain?
We made our own rain pictures  with "rain" drops and wrote super sentences  about our pictures.

Today we sorted words by their vowel sounds into different baskets. Then we did our best to write the words.

PEEPS!

We took the PEEP's  challenge. With marshmallows and toothpicks each student had to construct a birdhouse for their chick. It was great practice with 3D shapes. The students loved planning and engineering their designs. There was a lot of trial and error but in the end each PEEP got a happy home!
