An apple a day!

Mr. Fred our school custodian brought us all these apples from his second job at Elegant Farmer!  Thank you Mr. Fred!

We used a pan balance to weigh how heavy our apples were.

Mrs. Teeters  group of great listeners.

Thank you to Kloey's mom for helping in our apple centers today.

Evie's apple is 2 unifix blocks tall.

It took alot of blocks to weigh Tayte's apple.

Norah is an apple investigator.

That is one heavy apple Riley!

Caden hard at work and happy too!

Apples can be many colors. Tayte and Ryker both chose red.

Lawson's mom showed the students the special star inside each apple.

A perfect star ( Benson and the apple!)

Paige and Cooper found the seeds.
C.C. liked making apple prints the best!

It's a messy job and Mrs. Teeters and Mrs. Fingland had to do it!  Thank You:)

Riley all smiles about her apple print.

We love the green Norah.

Our class really enjoyed alphabet bingo.  You can access it at home at abcya  kindergarten.

Since tomorrow is the first of the month if your child has a Big Bend Team shirt they are asked to wear it.
A final order for T-shirts will be placed on Monday (any orders placed after noon on September 8th).is part of this last order.

Sentence Builders

We have learned letters make words and words make sentences.
Together we took random words and put them in the right order to make sentences about yummy apples!

At our tables we built apple sentences all by ourselves!

In math we did number stations. We used different types of things to build what each number looks like.
Look at this cool flower made from 7 blocks.

This shape took 8 straws.

Paige made 2 towers of 5.

We work very hard.

Very creative 7 shapes from Madison and Gabby.

Lots of towers of 5 Jake AND all patterns!  We like the Green Bay Packer one the best!

Combos of 2 and 3 block towers and that makes 5- super thinking Lawson!

7 blocks made this shape. Great work Benson.

Another super 7 from Addison. We learned even though something is the same number it can look many different ways!

Growing like trees!

Working together makes great things happen!  Great puzzle Carly and Norah!

We like to move it, move it!  Exercise makes us grow healthy!

With these fans we just have to win!

We worked hard in small groups labeling parts of a tree and writing about them in our science journals.

Great recording Gabby!

Learning is fun Benson and Tayte!

Super job on the weekend homework observing trees in your own backyard!
