The Elves are Done!

Our class enjoyed playing , "Top It!" ( in the old days called war). We compared numbers to see which were greater.

We also really enjoyed our reindeer races! It was exciting to predict which one would win.

Our classroom workshop is now closed as the little elves have finished up special gifts for special someones.
They are very fragile and in your child's  backpack tonight.
Please remember to check.

As always thank you for keeping sick children at home, we are all trying to stay healthy for the holidays!

Hang a stocking!

Greetings from England where they hang stockings (or pillowcase) and go Christmas caroling.
They also put notes to Santa in the fireplace so he finds them Christmas Eve.
Of course, there is no fire that night!
Some of the students were very surprised that people in England speak English just like us!

Playing school with Miss Emily.
Miss Tengler is the principal.

Henry and Ava building great things!

Creative minds- Jacob, Olivia and Sophia making special creations.

Tomorrow is the last day for our classroom Santa Cam as the North Pole is gearing up for it's grand flight.

Coding

Too cute!

God Jul from Sweden where the lights of St. Lucia light the winter darkness.

In math we used many different shapes to build hexagons.

Santa Cam spied Bradyn, Kensington and Mason doing a great job today!
In collaboratory we worked on coding. We created paths, programmed an elf dance, followed a gingerbread code and worked with  cubelets to create a robot.
