An Apple A Day!

We started the day outside getting our rooftop Big Bend photo with all the kids and teachers in the whole school.

The photographer on the roof was fun to watch. Here he is telling us where to stand!

Do you know the Apple Man?
We do!!!!!

They're the apples of our eye!!!
Here is Cameron and mom measuring apples.

C.J. and mom worked with the pan balance and weighed their apple.
Kaitlyn and mom were all smiles working together in the classroom.

Thanks moms for helping us measure, weigh, taste and even paint with our apples!

Group reading about apples of course:)

Our apple art project was super silly!

The taste test winner were red apples. 12 students said red tasted best!

STEM- (Science, technology,engineering,math)

Look at the super cool tech stuff we got to try out today.

This is the rollercoaster track.  We had fun designing different magnetic tracks to see which ones the marbles could get down and into the goal

This is Dash the robot. He is controlled by the IPAD and can go in many directions and make many sounds.
The kids loved making his head spin.

We worked with force by attempting to blow items across the finish line using straws. We recorded how many times we had to blow each object. The wooden block took lots of breathes!

To Everything There is a Season

Jocelyn is a star writer!
Checkout  her spaces between words, neat writing and even a period at the end!

She is back!
Kendyl is tan and rested up after her Disneyworld vacation, This brave girl thought the rollercoasters were the best part!

Today we read,  "The Seasons of Arnolds Apple Tree"- and made apple trees showing all the seasons.

We did group writing about our favorite season.

We learned about tally marks and tallied up our classes favorite seasons. Most people are lucky they live in Wisconsin because they love winter the best!

Our class worked very hard today and we are proud to display our A+ work!
