This day was SWEET!

Today we had a real treat reading different versions of the Gingerbread story.
We compared how the versions were the same and different.
We compared the story elements of setting, characters, problems and solutions.
We really liked , "The Gingerbread Cowboy."

In these versions the gingerbread are girls.
How appropriate because girls are so sweet!

Henry K. gave this day a big thumbs up!

A headless gingerbread really freaked Addison out!

Everyone got to take just one tiny bite of their gingerbread man then we did class graphs about what part most classmates ate first.
Most chomped the head first ( and I thought my class was so sweet.........)

These brains worked hard over break. We had 4 classmates pass sight word book one and move on to track two in sight words. We are very proud!
