This is Halloween

For the month of October, 13 students earned free pizza for completing 50 minutes of reading on Raz kids- great work Smarties!

Thanks EllaRae, your chocolate chip muffins brightened our day!

The "oo" sound in a book and on Mason- BOO!

Ghost suckers!

A very  seasonal estimation bag from our Top Dog!
 Guess Who????
Knock, knock sounds like more,
Trick or treaters at the door.
We opened the door and what did we see,
so many spooks looking at me!

Which witch???

Candy corn games!

BINGO!

Watching the parade!

Thank you to the volunteers who helped, everyone who sent donations and those that took their sugared up kindergartners home right after the parade (haha).
There were many memories made today:)
Happy Halloween!

Hocus Pocus

We did some word hocus and pocus and figured out some Halloween words by looking at the first letter and matching them to Halloween pictures.

When we came to spider and skeleton Connor figured it out by knowing that the word skeleton is longer. We also talked about looking at the second letter to figure it out.

What a great week for S- spiders, skeletons, spooky and our new Superkid Sal!

Mrs. Koput ( author/illustrator) shared one of her stories, "Signs of Fall".

This week is all about our Top Dog Emily!

Practicing shapes was really fun- especially turning them into HAUNTED HOUSES!

Bring costumes in bags tomorrow, We will change later in the day for our Halloween party and parade.
Parents are invited to attend the 2:30 parade!
