Golden tickets and leprechaun traps!

On Friday we got to go to the gym with the whole school to see, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."

Makenna and Collin found our classes golden tickets and got special seating for the show!


The leprechaun traps are rolling in!
My trap has gold- Mason

My trap has chocolate inside of it- Addi

My trap has chocolate and he can get trapped!- Gianna

Violet's trap has a rainbow!

My trap has a pot of gold- Cheyenne
Send those traps in we only have a week to try to catch him!

Our friends are FAMOUS! Zoey and Braden were in the Mukwonago Chief!

Magical March!

Happy Birthday Zoey!

We kicked off our fairytale unit by talking about what fairytales have:
They start with once upon a time and end with happily ever after- McKenna
They have princes and princesses- Abbie
They have happy endings- Olivia
They can have kings and queens- Violet
They are make believe- Cooper
Fairytales have villians- Collin
Witches, stepmom and stepsisters, trolls, , goblins, wolves, foxes, pirates- the class
They also have good characters like: The three little pigs- Quinn
Belle- Gianna and Sleeping Beauty- Violet
They are magical with secret potions- Elizabeth
magic powers- Cooper
magic numbers like 3-
 and spells!



Today we read this story and talked about story elements like characters, setting, the problem and the solution.
We illustrated and wrote about our favorite parts- look at these great illustrations!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Who let all these things into our  classroom??????




 We love to read Dr. Seuss stories!
His real name was
Theodor "Ted" Seuss Geisel.
As a child, he liked to read.




Today, people still read
and love the books that
Dr. Seuss wrote. A library
in San Diego, California,
is named after him.
In 2004 a Hollywood star
was named for him.



Mrs Stein from the library read us "Horton Hears a Who"- Braden
 I like all 44 books Dr. seuss wrote- Henry
He wrote "Green Eggs and Ham!"- Cooper
"The Cat in the Hat was his first book" (in 1957)- Abbie


Dr. Seuss likes rhyming words- Mason
He is so good at making books for kids- Elizabeth
He wrote "The Sneetches", some have stars some don't have stars- Maddie




Some of his books are made into movies like "The Grinch who Stole Christmas"- Cheyenne
