I have a trap door the leprechaun can fall in- Collin

I colored the rainbow in- Maddi

My trap is made out of a shoebox- Olivia

We built my trap with wood- Cooper

My dad helped me build a trap I really love- abbie

My trap has gold in the middle and a trap door so he can fall in- Quinn


The leprechaun will love all the gold in my trap- Samantha

Aurora Health Center Fieldtrip

Today we enjoyed our morning fieldtrip.  We learned about health and safety!

We learned about "Strangerdanger"- Cooper
If someone is a stranger and they are trying to talk to you- yell "NO!"- run - and tell a person you trust and know- Elizabeth
Strangers are dangerous- Abbie
We saw a puppet show about calling 911, don't mess around with it, only call in an emergency
- Mason
Like if your parents are hurt, someone fell down the stairs, someone is having a heart attack- a fire- the class



If we couldn't walk well we would use these- Quinn
It was fun riding in the wheelchair- but it would not be fun to always have to be in one- Collin
My grandma had a metal cane- Gianna
My grandma has a cane- Elizabeth






We used stethoscopes and learned about keeping healthy- Cooper
We dressed like nurses and doctors and did pretend shots- Maddie
We looked at very tiny germs from a mouth- Braden
We put skeletons together- Olivia
We saw a movie about staying strong and keeping healthy!- Addi
we learned to sneeze into your arm not your hands BECAUSE you touch stuff and get germs on everything with your hands- McKenna
We looked at x-rays- Samantha



















The bus was really fun!- Henry
My mom drove the bus- Maddie
Thank you to Mrs. Casdtaneda for getting us safely there and back!
Thanks also to my wonderful group of learners that were respectful , kind and safe on our trip today. You make Big Bend Elementary look great and I am very proud!

An apology

There are many types of writing:

You can write in a journal- Henry
You can write a birthday card- Quinn
You can write a thank you card- Cooper
You can write in your diary- Olivia
You can write a grocery list- Nola
You can write thank you for the money- Jackson
You can write a to do list- Gianna
You can write on the IPAD- Cooper
You can write a Christmas list- Mason
You can write a birthday list- Violet
The important thing is that you write everyday!!!!!!!!!!
