 Vowels have 2 sounds. A long and a short sound- Collin

All of these words have the short i sound except for the word slide- Braden
A silent e, makes the vowel have a long sound. The vowel will say its own name- Jackson

In the pink!

 Many friends were rockin pink today- even Jackson! Royal baby? The breast cancer walk this past weekend? I don't know, it's in the air!

We love your pink socks Jackson!

 We took a spelling test for PALS.  Here we are taking that test- we look like first graders!

Tomorrow begins our ABC countdown to the last day of school- wear animal shirts and/or animal print!
