Number One! ( and more)

Today we took a number walk. We were looking for numbers around the school.

We found lots of numbers in lots of places!
This 6 means sixth grade!

The third graders told us instead of their names by their coat hooks they all have a number!

There are lots of numbers on doors.

Mrs. Dukatz invited us to walk around her classroom where we found lots of numbers. Check out this sixth grader with a big number on his shirt!

Number dice!

On the clock and a football field.

Numbers can tell us the year.

A couple of our friends wore numbers today!

We found numbers on art projects.

This is the number of our FAVORITE classroom. Our kindergarten class!

The Wheels on the Bus

We really liked this story!

We had fun making buses and putting our friends on the bus!
We built a class graph and found out a lot more friends come to school on the bus. Three of our friends come in a car. ALL of us will ride a school bus to our kindergarten field trips.

Look at our perfect and quiet line at our first all school fire drill. We took this seriously because if it were a real fire we need to know how to stay safe. Mr. Waller told us he was so proud of us! Our teachers told us that was the best fire drill ever!

Shaping Up

Cheetah Twinning!

Our first day of Superkids was really exciting. We met Cass who loves cooking! We can't wait to learn to read and write with all  the Superkids!

These boys all love the color red!

Jacob, Mac and Sophia  like the color green best!

These four students agree with Mrs. Teeters that purple is perfection!

These ladies think the color pink is the prettiest!

These four kiddos and Mrs.Sackmaster think blue is the best!

We put in all our favorites and built a classroom graph to answer the question - what are our classroom friends favorite colors?

It's shaping up to be a great year! In math we identified shapes of pattern blocks then made some very unique designs.

Does your child know these shapes? How about trapezoid, hexagon and rhombus?

Choice time is a great time for making friends!

All our learning makes us very sleepy!
Rest up and see you tomorrow- for WEDNESDAY already!
Remember to bring library books back tomorrow!
