Thank you parents for the money you/your child contributed to our funds for new books for the school! We loved seeing all the fun outfits this week and look forward to the Book Fair next week :)

Vernon Fire Department Visit

October 9th

Thank you Vernon Fire Department for coming to visit and teach us all about fire safety! We enjoyed looking at all the firefighter equipment, talking with the firefighters and checking out the big firetrucks!! What a fun day :)

Today we did a lot of fall themed activities! We used our paint easel for the first time to paint pumpkins! We also read an Autumn Nature Walk Scholastic reader.

 

Tomorrow the Vernon Fire Department will be visiting Big Bend Elementary. The kindergartners are very excited to learn about fire safety from the firefighters!!

This morning the kiddos came in with a lot of energy! After getting our wiggles out during morning recess, we came back in refocused and ready to learn. Ms. Johnson and Miss Bales were SO proud of all the hard work rom 207 did today :) Don't forget tomorrow is mismatch day for the book fair!

It was a great day in room 207 today. We had a special visit from Cooper's dad, Mr. Hietala who read one of Cooper's favorite books from home. The class loved it, thank you! Next week the Superstar of the week is Samantha:)
