The Frog Prince

The classic fairytale of , "The Frog Prince"  posed a very interesting question for our class.  

Would you kiss a frog?

Jaxson said yes because he is hoping he will get some wishes and he likes wishes!

C.J. would because he wants to feel how slimy it is.

A big NO from Cameron because ,
"all kisses are DISGUSTING!"

Jocelyn would not because frogs are disgusting, slimy and stinky!

Landyn agrees frogs are too slimy!

Frog kisses gross most classmates out!

A big NO  WAY from these kiddos!

Only 3 students would kiss a frog- PUCKER UP!

As for me, of course!  In fact I already did, how do you think I got my  prince?

Spring has Sprung!

Spring is Here! We brainstormed and wrote about signs of Spring. Sam and Eli both had the most original ideas (unprovoked and original)! 

Jaxson loves to ride his bike in Spring.

For Addison Spring means picnics and tornadoes ( but not on the same day!)

Kylie loves the warmer weather!

Reminder-  School is dismissed before lunch tomorrow at 11:35, Remember to send in a note if your child's dismissal plan will be different.
Too much "Spring Fever" the last two days. Please remind your child about your expectations at school. 

Many could use a good run on the afternoon off tomorrow!

A Giant Day

Today was all about giants. We enjoyed and sequenced the story of , "Jack in the Beanstalk". We also heard the South African  story about their terrible giant, "Abiyoyo".

We heard a poem today about a giant named Sam and drew what the poem made us think Sam would look like.  When words paint pictures in your head it is magical!

Two lovely ladies crossed the sight word finish line.  Congrats to Alaina and Kaitlyn for all their hard work!

They now move on to  weekly spelling tests! This elite group all earned 100% today on their weekly words!

To p Dog Eli loves red, jellybeans, the Badgers and so much more!
