Never Forget!

Sure, Memorial Day is about grill outs, parades, shades and a day off school 

BUT,  we know it is so much more than that....

It is about protecting us- Jocelyn

It is about the soldiers who died- Easton

The soldiers died to give us our freedom- Sam

They fought in wars- Jaxson

They help us be protected- Mya

It's about the people that give us freedom- TJ

It's about remembering the brave men and women who fought and died to give us the freedom to have our grill outs, parades and fun

Never Forget.

Easton is the man of the day! He is Top Dog, his mom came in to read and he celebrated  his July 19th birthday with BEAUTIFUL, yummy cupcakes!

Kylie's birthday is July 16th too. I have never had a class that have 3 birthdays on the same day.

Sweet as Honey

Mrs. Hemken a teacher  in our early childhood program shared her past time with us beekeeping. She also gave us a lesson on bees as well as delicious honey sticks. It takes 12 bees their whole life to make one honey stick.  Stop in to say hello to Mrs. Hemken at the Mukwonago farmers market as well as Maxwell Street Days.
