Measuring up to be a great year:)

We were treated with an  assembly celebrating Chinese culture and the "Awakening of the Dragon".  This is a very special ceremony. Some of my past kindergartner's  participated in the ceremony, Casey Hsieh, Braden Hughes and Bennett Wolf . The colors  and dances were so energetic and happy. It sprung us awake on a Monday morning!

That is one TALL dragon!
Speaking of tall...........

We have been working on measurement from the wingspan of certain bats to how many pumpkins tall we are on our  pumpkin measuring line.

We are 12 pumpkins tall.

We are 13 pumpkins tall.

These
pumpkins are the tallest in our class.
They are 14 pumpkins tall.

We learn and grow more everyday!
