Change

Today we talked about the past and present and how things change over time.
"My wrist changed when I broke it"- Ryker
"In the past they had a candle now things changed because we have electric lights to turn off and on"- Benson

" I am 50 days smarter then when I came to school"- Leah

"In the past kids walked to school and now we get to ride buses to school"- Keaton

" We are in a big school and not all in one room"- Ms. Johnson

We talked about how writing has changed over time.
" They use to use feathers and ink to write"- Caden
" Indians used symbols"- Brooklyn
We used some of those symbols to write on pretend buckskin.

Check out this ancient cave painting. We guessed  the story they were trying to tell-
"They saw bulls"- Alyssa
" They were going to hunt buffalo"- Caden

Wherever, however, whenever- writing is always a right thing to do!

We sorted pictures from the past and present- much has changed.
We write, travel, communicate, bathroom, light our houses, get water and even cook different.
