Ginger stories and the Polar Express!

 Today we learned that verbs are action words. We used verbs to act out and write our own page for our class  gingerbread story.

Ice skate, Ice skate as fast as you can.

Dance, dance as fast as you can!

Jog, jog as fast as you can!

Hop, hop as fast as you can!

Chug, chug as fast as you can!

Dig, dig as fast as you can!

Jump, jump as fast as you can!

Fly, fly as fast as you can!

This afternoon we boarded the Polar Express for some fun math surveys.
Our questions were,
Have you seen the Polar Express movie?
Have you ridden on a train?
and
Do you like marshmallows in your hot chocolate?

We also made Winter Train ride books, please read these with your child tonight.
Tomorrow is our class party, school sing along, wear festive holiday clothing spirit day, Miss Owen's last day with us, the first day of winter and the last day before break!

Thank you so much for letting me learn with you over the past four months! I had such a wonderful time getting to know and work with each and everyone of you! I loved seeing how much bigger your brains have gotten each day and having such a fun time in class with all of you! You are the best kindergarteners and the best class I have got the chance to work with, you guys are awesome! :)
