Just hatched

We sorted oviparous (animals which lay and hatch from eggs) and not oviparous animals.
Some interesting things we learned:
Every bird is oviparous.  An ostrich has the biggest egg.  The hummingbird has the smallest.
Dinosaurs came from eggs.
Daddy seahorses keep the eggs safe in their pouch.
A sting ray's egg is sometimes called a mermaids purse.
An octopus can lay over 100,000 eggs at a time.

Drum roll please........................
Riley ran to second base on sight words!  That makes us so proud!

We played a game called , What's in the Egg?"
Everyone had to write 3 clues about the oviparous animal that was in their egg.  It was so fun to guess!
these are coming home tonight, try to guess what is in your child's egg.

These friends are each wearing a shirt with an oviparous animal on it!

Twinning- rockin the cheetah and flower shirts!
