Bittersweet

Our day had a sweet start as Mrs. Daiker brought us a special treat for all our great reading this year!

It got even sweeter when Jake ran to third base on sight words- AWESOME!

and .......CiCi  ran  to second base on sight words- Hooray!

Then it was bittersweet as we  said goodbye to Mrs. Daiker. We thank her for helping us with reading. We are ready for first grade!

Our smiles came back with Madison's yummy birthday treat. Her birthday is not until July 17th but we will be off enjoying our summer.

Happy long weekend and to our servicemembers who paid the ultimate price for our freedom, we will never forget!
