A Dog-gone great day!

We are so lucky to welcome these gentle giants every Tuesday starting today. They love kindergarten readers! Their owner and trainer Mrs. Ciechanowski will be escorting Zappa who is a Newfoundland show dog and certified therapy dog.  In addition: Capone is a 5 month Newfoundland in training and may make a few surprise visits also. Check out today's readers.

Patiently awaiting the next reader.

Was this a bedtime a story?

Thanks CJ "Top Dog" for a delicious mystery box.
It is hard.
It is sweet.
You can eat all of it but the stick!

Dog- gone special valentines!

We shared some of our favorite dog books. We have been talking about the beginning, middle and end of a story and are learning to tell it in our own words ( summarize).
"Harry didn't want to take a bath and he ran away"- Kendyl

"George swallowed different animals and made their  animal sounds"- Jocelyn

"Walter always farted but it stopped the robbers and he became a hero"- Easton

"This dog had really stinky breath so they were going to give him away. Until he saved the day"- Henry  K.

"Olive found a heart dropped by her door and was trying to give it back. then she found out it was for her"- Jaxon

A HUGE bark out to Henry T. who was the first to complete all three laps of sight words and move on to the finish line. We are so proud of your hard work and if we were dogs we would wag our tails for you!!!!!
