Roll the Dice!

We spent  the morning testing.
I look forward to sharing your child's progress with you on the progress report being sent home on the 19th.
The other half of the class will be  tested tomorrow morning.

Showing off  her smarts makes Holly smile (her teacher too)!

What two numbers can you make from this dice roll?
25 and 52

Challenge question: What is the smallest possible number you can roll on two dice?

Kudos to Mason that told us the highest number you can roll on two dice is 66!

Some kiddos played the game and were writing numbers with 0's, 7's, 8's and 9's. We talked about how these numbers are not possible as a die only goes from 1-6.
You may want to try this game at home with your child and see how they do.
If any numbers are written backwards encourage them to erase and write the correct way. It's great practice!
