Thanks Mr. Andy!

We began the day outside with the whole school. We smiled pretty for our Big Bend rooftop photo!

Eli wants to go to lots of countries. Look at his amazing flags!

A swimming pool is a great place to go!

Today Mrs. Sackmaster would say a word and we had to write if it began with co or go ( short sound). She said words like gobble, cod, got  and we knew them all!

Today we focused on community helpers with our very own Mr. Andy. He works at our school and is a fire chief. He told us many ways to be safe around fire. He also showed us all the gear he wears to keep himself safe!
Mr. Andy went to Texas to help out after the hurricane. We are proud to know him.
Thank you Mr. Andy!

That's your Opinion

Today we learned about opinions. We recorded our opinions about our favorite foods, animals, toys and characters. We shared our  opinions with partners and worked on respectful listening and sharing. Sometimes we had the same opinions sometimes we did not.We think it is neat how so many people have so many different opinions! That's what makes each of us special.

In math we have been getting really good at recognizing patterns and understanding how different dot placements can equal the same number. We put those skills to the test today playing dot match up with a partner. We are very good at taking turns and being good sports.
