All Aboard!!!!

The Polar Express is about a boy and a bell from Santa.

Thanks to all the parents who donated candy to make these very special trains and our special stir sticks for our coco and of course the MARSHMALLOWS!

Our survey told us that
MOST STUDENTS IN OUR CLASS LIKE MARSHMALLOWS IN THEIR HOT COCO!

Henry got these new pajamas from St. Nick! The students were very excited to share all the news about what was in their stocking!

Santa Cam- Dec. 5th

Today's  very happy Santa Cam recipients!
He only gives three big awards a day and he told me today was a very hard decision.
Emily, Kensington, and Owen P. caught his eye with great behavior !
St. Nick probably has to make lots of stops tonight for the awesome boys and girls in our class.

Write on Writers!

Today we read another gingerbread tale,  Jan Brett's "Gingerbread Baby." We did a story map about the characters, setting, problem and solution. 

Here we are working on our daily dictation. Mrs. Sackmaster gives a word all the students write the word and then someone is chosen to write it on the big board. 
Today's words were doll, glad, glass,  lip gloss, and two sentences, Doc is sad. and  Cass slid.
Try to have your student write these at home, you will be amazed!

In math we worked with calculators. We learned some of the signs, talked about why you use them,  put in numbers and even added.

Up, Up and Away!

This week is all about our classroom Top Dog Bradyn! He loves sports, the color blue and cheeseburgers!

Oh the memories . I think parachute was always the best part of gym and lots of your kiddos agree!!

Mr. Grant always makes gym class a lot of fun!

(even when others were playing!)

Friday fun!

We laugh, we learn, we make mistakes, we pick each other up because we always swim together!

These great readers read 50 min. at home on Raz kids and earned a free personal pan pizza!

We counted by 10's and when we did it right it made a beautiful Christmas picture!
