Have You Seen Trees?

Danny had an awesome time at Alaina's house this weekend. Here is our Top Dog sharing her all about me poster.

We kicked off our science unit with the story, "Have You Seen Trees?"
Then we went outside to observe our own school yard trees.

We observed that there are different kinds with different leaves.

Bark is very interesting.

Trees can be lots of fun!

Many animals live in trees. The most exciting thing was all the cicada shells we found.

We found a stump where a tree once grew.

We recorded our observations in our science journals.

Finn recorded the Cicada shells we found.

Mya noted that the trees were many sizes.

Kaitlyn observed some of the trees had no leaves and some had leaves that were turning Fall colors.
