Sock it to drugs!

Many classmates participated in red ribbons week, "sock it to drugs" day by wearing some really crazy and mismatched socks.

All these red slips are pledges that we will say no to drugs.
Twinning
Mrs. Masters and Jocelyn in fun halloween scarves.

Today we worked on building and writing words from the "at" word family. Have your child read you their at words. They are coming home tonight on the back of our "Bat in the Dark" papers.
We also read a Science Spin on nocturnal animals. We learned about sugar gliders. We read a graph in math to answer questions about nocturnal animals.  We did tree puzzles to help us answer the last pages in our tree journals.  We are working on long and short vowel sounds. Check out a vowel song we go batty over-  vowel bat- click here

Tomorrow is "Team Up" against drugs- wear exercise clothes jerseys or sport team shirts.
