We sense something wonderful!

We were the lucky winners in a teacher drawing for a book fair book box. Thank you P.T.O as you can see WE LOVE TO READ!

Today we focused on our 5 senses. Our senses tell us what is going on around us and makes us aware of our world.

T.J.'s mom had the hearing center. We had to shake and listen carefully to film canisters and guess what was inside.

We heard, water, rice and pennies to name a few.

Jaxson's grandma played a smell game with us.
We had to use our noses to be super sniffers and guess many smells.
We loved smelling the rose, soap and mint. Smelling wood and soil was not as fun.

Kaitlyn's mom had us pass socks ( clean of course). We had to guess what was inside using our sense of touch. We not only guessed what was inside but how many too!

We read in science readers all about the senses and made our own senses journals with our favorite sights, smells and things we like to touch- kittens were a top answer!

We did our Top Dog superstars estimation and  mystery bag today. Both of her items come from trees!

Sleep well and have a good breakfast state PALS testing is tomorrow.
We will have a sub as Mrs. Masters will be pulling kids one by one for testing.
